Job description

Claris International Inc., an Apple company, is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the technical direction and architecture for robust data platforms and client-facing solutions. In this role, you will combine deep database architecture expertise with hands-on delivery rigor, ensuring projects are executed on time, to specification, and with production-grade quality. You will translate client requirements into scalable, secure technical designs while fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
As a FileMaker Senior Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead responsible for architecting and delivering mission-critical database solutions that directly impact our clients' success. You will partner closely with Server teams and internal stakeholders to transform business requirements into clear, detailed database architectures. By owning the end-to-end technical lifecycle of client-facing database solutions, your technical leadership will ensure that every schema, data model, and pipeline is designed for long-term operability, security, and performance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.8 years of experience in database or data engineering roles.Experience designing scalable architectures across Server, Client, WebDirect, APIs, and cloud or on-premises deployments.Experience delivering complex systems on schedule while maintaining quality standards.Experience with data modeling, schema design, and normalization principles.Experience communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
