ProSidian Seeks a General Project Support Specialist - Administrative/Business (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 01613) to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. 

The Project Support Specialist BU 108 provides Closure and Waste Disposal Authority (C&WDA) a project support and configuration management specialist for development/ preparation /document management in support of the closure of Savannah River Site (SRS)

General Project Support Specialist - Administrative/Business Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services,  NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

1.             Reference/support document research and data compilation.

2.             Obtain/track reference/support document release approvals for the "Release of Information" (ROI) process per procedure 1B, MRP 1.05. Create redacted version of document(s), as required, and re-submit to ROI for review. Apply appropriate markings to redacted document(s).

3.             Prepare final deliverable packages (paper and electronic files).

4.             Perform maintenance duties for the site Liquid Waste Operations Document Library.

5.             Regulatory document equipment maintenance including maintaining the inventory of supplies.

6.             Departmental contact for computer hardware/software support, computer supplies and troubleshooting.

7.             Maintain electronic calendars for multiple managers and complete travel reimbursement forms.

Qualifications

The General Project Support Specialist - Administrative/Business shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Project Support Specialists working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) Associate Degree in Business, Communications or English, with 7 years equivalent experience in project / technical support or document /configuration control / office management. At least two (2) years experience in the use of various software programs, such as:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Deltek Time and Expense, Filemaker Pro. Experience with governmental agencies Orders, Policies, Standards and Guidelines is desired. Recent SRS experience (within last two years) is required. Prior experience with regulatory documentation for closure of facilities in accordance with federal and state government regulation is preferred. Candidate must be familiar with electronic document control and configuration management systems such as the SRS Liquid Waste Organization (LWO) document library. A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRR utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position
