Overview
The Seattle office of McGuireWoods is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Assistant to support our Commercial Litigation practice group. The successful candidate will possess superior organizational capabilities and participate in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • File management including creating, organizing, and updating case files and databases.
  • Organizes, labels and files case materials as directed.
  • Deposition and trial preparation, including putting together materials to help the team prepare for litigation.
  • Supporting paralegals and other staff on case-related tasks.
  • Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or some experience in a law firm is preferred (Spring 2026 graduates welcome to apply).
  • Excellent technical skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AI legal platforms.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and/or E-Discovery platforms (CaseMap, FileSite, eRoom, Pacer, and Relativity) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate filing skills
  • Self-starter and team player
