Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency preferred

EXPERIENCE: On the job training provided, Previous manufacturing or foundry experience preferred

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Must have good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination. Must be able to follow written work instructions. Must be able to multitask and meet production goals and deadlines. Must be team-oriented and have good communication skills. Must have great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to grip, push, and pull with 80lb strength on a regular basis. Must be able to generate 15lbs of pinch strength on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical. Must be able to perform elevated work on an occasional basis. Some tasks require repetitive activities. Must be able to stand on concrete up to 8 hours. Must be willing to cross-train within the classification. Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required personal protective equipment. Must be willing to work any shift. Must be able to maintain a clean workstation and clean equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Must be able to use vibratory tools on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to identify areas to be cleaned from the casting per the work instruction.
  • Must be able to determine which tools are used for different castings.
  • Must be able to identify and remove excess materials from casting per the customer requirements.
  • Must be able to compare and complete paperwork necessary to identify work performed on casting.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team when necessary.

These job duties are not all inclusive. The Company, from time to time, may require the incumbent to perform additional duties as assigned.
