WORK WITH US

Service-Meets-Retail,

Experiential Skincare Company

Company description

Founded in 2019, Formula Fig is an innovative digital-first experiential skincare company operating 8+ Fig Bar locations across Canada (Vancouver, Toronto) and the US (Los Angeles). We've built a flywheel model connecting formulafig.com with our physical Fig Bars, offering high-tech treatments integrated with carefully curated third-party retail products. Our treatments seamlessly incorporate both partner products and our proprietary skincare line, FFFormulations, which launches this year-marking our evolution into a fully integrated treatment and product brand.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead our Los Angeles market and help shape the next phase of our expansion.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all stores to foster a welcoming environment.
  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures, including security and ambiance settings, across all stores.

Scheduling and Team Management:

  • Work with Fig Bar leadership to build schedules for all Fig Bars within your designated Area, achieving labor targets related to sales goals.
  • Manage all areas of employee relations for your designated Area, including hiring, onboarding, payroll and performance management.
  • Recruit and train a passionate team that may include a combination of Associate Fig Bar Manager(s), Floor Manager(s) Treatment Lead(s), Skin Educators, and Guest Experience Associates who are committed to Formula Fig's mission and core values.

Inventory Management:

  • Uphold strict inventory control across all locations, ensuring accurate counts and effective product presentation and storage.
  • Direct visual merchandising in line with brand standards to maintain a consistent and appealing aesthetic across all stores.

Marketing and Community:

  • Collaborate with Retail Director and Marketing Teams to optimize asset utilization and enhance the customer experience across all stores.
  • Standardize customer engagement and equipment sterilization processes across all locations.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to enhance customer experience and deepen the team's product knowledge.

Operational Excellence:

  • Review the booking dashboard and manage customer checkouts, aiming to dedicate a substantial portion of your time to this task.

Sales and Aftercare Services:

  • Drive sales and promote post treatment products, ensuring sales staff across all stores are trained to upsell and meet customer needs.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Compile comprehensive End-of-Day reports and update the Dashboard with key metrics for each store in your designated Area.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the support office, reporting on the performance and operational nuances of each store.

This role is dynamic and will evolve with the needs of the business. Additional duties and responsibilities may be added or adjusted over time.

  • Bonus eligibility tied to Area performance

  • Formula Fig treatment benefits and employee product discounts
  • Eligibility for health benefits based on full-time employment
