Concrete Field Sales Representative - Mount Vernon, OHOverview

We are seeking a Concrete Field Sales Representative to join a growing ready-mix concrete operation with a strong reputation for customer service, industry expertise, and long-term community relationships.

This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role for someone who understands concrete operations, communicates effectively with contractors, and is motivated to grow business through responsiveness, technical knowledge, and customer support.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term customer relationships, expanding territories, and becoming a trusted partner within the concrete industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and existing customers

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand sales territories

  • Strengthen and grow existing customer accounts

  • Support customers on pour days by assisting with communication, scheduling, and service expectations

  • Provide consultative support by identifying customer needs and offering practical field solutions

  • Utilize concrete knowledge including slump, testing, mix performance, and field conditions during customer interactions

  • Manage customer expectations regarding delivery schedules, product performance, and job-site requirements

  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, operations, quality control, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution

  • Represent the organization professionally on job sites and within the community


Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the concrete or ready-mix industry required

  • Strong understanding of slump, concrete testing, mix behavior, and job-site operations

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
