Job description

Major League Baseball is looking for a Designer in the Brand Design Department to support the development and execution of visual branding and a wide range of graphic design projects across key Major League Baseball initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the creation and refinement of branding for MLB events, initiatives, properties, products, commemorative marks, and campaign identities
  • Contributing to the development of brand style guides and visual systems
  • Create production-ready art
  • Assist with the development of League branding guidelines
  • Helping establish and maintain consistency in branding across all MLB platforms
  • Collaborating with all MLB Global Designers, including MLB Digital, Social, and International teams
  • Creation and implementation of templates and graphic systems
  • Reviewing and refining design assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction
  • Supporting the rollout of visual identities across league-wide campaigns, events, and platforms
  • Sales and partnership presentations
  • Events and environmental design
  • Consumer product inspiration boards, uniforms, and licensee toolkits
  • Retail and point-of-sale experiences
  • Broadcast and promotional materials
  • Internal concept boards, mockups, and creative strategy decks
  • Providing clear direction to external partners
  • Reviewing work to ensure alignment with brand strategy and creative standards

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in branding, graphic design, or visual identity systems
  • Strong portfolio showcasing logo development, brand systems, and applied design
  • Clear understanding of how brand identity translates across digital, social, print, and physical environments
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience working with presentation platforms such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides
  • Strong organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
