Purpose: The Field Solutions Engineer department delivers technical expertise, customized solutions, and excellent customer support. Their contributions are essential for ensuring successful implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of complex technology solutions in diverse customer environments.

Scope: The Field Solutions Engineer department is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers, often in complex or specialized environments.


Our IT department is made up of the following roles. Field Solutions Manager, Field Solutions Engineer Lead, Field Solutions Engineers


Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation: Field Solutions Engineers act as technical advisors to customers, helping them understand and evaluate solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements. They engage in detailed discussions with clients to gather technical requirements and constraints.


Solution Design and Architecture: Design customized solutions based on customer requirements, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration with existing systems. This involves creating technical diagrams, architecture documentation, and solution proposals.


Implementation and Deployment: Field Solutions Engineers oversee the implementation of solutions at customer sites, ensuring that installations are completed successfully and according to specifications. They may collaborate with project managers, field technician support analysts, and other stakeholders to coordinate deployment activities.


Testing and Validation: They conduct thorough testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and perform as expected. This includes troubleshooting issues, resolving technical challenges, and optimizing configurations for optimal performance.
