We're looking for a Generator Field Service Technician who brings a methodical, detail-oriented approach to diesel and natural gas power generation equipment. This is a role where accuracy matters, procedures exist for good reason, and your technical expertise is genuinely respected.

You'll operate within clearly defined processes, established safety standards, and consistent expectations. There's no guesswork about what's required - you'll know exactly what's expected, and you'll have the tools and documentation to do it right.

Our training campus in Mableton, Georgia offers hands-on, technical instruction - not generic corporate training. Earn meaningful credentials including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and EGSA Apprentice or Journeyman certifications, backed by 40+ hours of paid annual training. You'll report to supervisors who provide clear direction, set defined objectives, and give you the independence to do your work once you're established. We don't micromanage skilled technicians - we trust people who've demonstrated they know what they're doing.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), generator controls, excitation systems, and related equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with care and accuracy
• Complete service documentation thoroughly and on time
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service findings
• Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices consistently

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2years of power generation experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Comfort working from technical documentation and established procedures
• A careful, detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and recordkeeping
• Professional, straightforward communication style
• Valid driving record with fewer than three moving violations and no felony convictions
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
