Job description

SEBTS is looking to hire a Support Technician to work in the Information Technology office on campus. This position is restricted to students, incoming students, and spouses of current students.

Pay Rate: $15.45 an hour

Support Technicians will:

  • Move computer hardware and equipment.
  • Install software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems.
  • Provide basic front-end desktop computer, printer and copier support for end users.
  • Ensure timely and professional technical support is provided to the end user.
  • Assists the Operations Manager and the Director in other duties as assigned.

Required

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of desktop computers and operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft based applications.
  • Preferred
    • Experience with data wiring and connectivity.
    • Experience with telephone systems.
    • Undergraduate College Degree.
  • Desired
    • College Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related program.
