About the Opportunity
Our client is an industry-leading manufacturer and service provider of industrial process equipment supporting customers across multiple industries throughout the United States. They are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services at customer facilities nationwide.
This position is ideal for a mechanically and electrically skilled technician who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and solving complex equipment issues.
Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical control systems, including three-phase motor controls.
  • Replace and service motors, pumps, compressors, VFDs, valves, switches, motor starters, and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform stainless steel and aluminum welding when needed (preferred).
  • Respond to emergency service calls and equipment breakdowns.
  • Complete detailed field service reports using company-provided technology.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships while serving as the company’s field representative.
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices.
  • Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States to support customer locations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance or field service experience.
  • Experience with three-phase electrical systems and industrial controls.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Welding experience with stainless steel and aluminum is preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
