Now is the perfect time to grow your career by joining our expanding Field Operations team! As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering top-tier service to our customers by providing expert preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades. This position requires Monday-Friday overnight travel within a designated service radius of approximately 150-250 miles, ensuring the security and functionality of our systems nationwide. 

Approximate Year End Earnings: $70,000 - $90,000 (inclusive of base pay and average overtime). Hourly compensation range is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour determined by experience, skill set, travel requirements, and geographical location.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites, following established standard operating procedures to ensure optimal system performance. 
  • Assist the AMAROK Install Department with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and system commissioning after construction is completed. 
  • Organize and prioritize daily service calls and route, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of maintenance and repair work. 
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service, training, and support. 
  • Provide assistance to other Field Service Technicians as needed, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing. 
  • Drive safely while following all local, state, and federal traffic laws to reach service locations efficiently. 
  • Monitor daily inventory levels, accurately complete service reports, and submit documentation within required deadlines. 
  • Track and submit expense reports in compliance with company policies. 

Requirements & Qualifications 

  • Must be available to travel Monday-Friday weekly 
  • Valid Driver's License  
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems (experience with access control systems and/or fire alarms is a plus) 
  • OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance is strongly preferred 
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects as needed & safely climb a ladder up to 30 ft. 
  • Ability to operate various forms of power equipment such as: aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, mixers, etc. 
  • Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues effectively 
  • Basic Math Skills - Necessary for measuring, calculating, and troubleshooting system configurations
