Job description

About the Role:

Morris Business Solutions is a leading provider of office technology in North and South Carolina. We’re actively hiring a Senior Field Technician to take full ownership of a designated service territory — supporting and maintaining Xerox and Kyocera MFPs.

You’ll handle on-site service, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and serve as a second-level escalation point for other technicians. This role is designed for independent, self-motivated professionals who take pride in providing high-quality service.


What You'll Do:

  • Perform hands-on service and maintenance on Xerox and Kyocera MFP equipment

  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot hardware issues in the field

  • Execute preventive maintenance

  • Provide second-level technical support for other technicians

  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers

  • Represent Morris Business Solutions with professionalism


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience servicing Xerox equipment (required)

    • Experience with PrimeLink and Versant is a plus

    • Fiery Experience is a plus

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
