Description
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for traveling extensively to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC fabricating machine tools at customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role delivers high-quality technical support to ensure optimal sheet metal machine performance while serving as a trusted, customer-facing representative. The Field Service Engineer documents machine conditions, recommends improvements, and trains customers on proper operation and service to maximize productivity. Acting as a Service Ambassador, this position works closely with customers during installations and repairs to directly support their business success. Locations: Work from home - Milwaukee, WI, or Indianapolis, IN
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Hands-on experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Strong customer service focus with a professional, adaptable mindset
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently in the field
• Comfort working in a 100% travel role (Monday-Friday)
• Technologically savvy with experience in software use and file management
Requirements:
