Job description

Insituform Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions, is a leading worldwide provider of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and other technologies and services for the rehabilitation of pipeline systems. Insituform's businesses consist of sewer, drinking water, and energy and mining pipeline rehabilitation and protection. The company provides cost-effective solutions to remediate operational, health, regulatory, and environmental problems resulting from aging and defective pipelines. Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and maps to be sure the project conforms to engineering requirements.

  • Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.

  • Analyze and consider government regulations and environmental risks during planning phases of each cured-in-place pipe project.

  • Responsible for pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/project start-up, and closeout.

  • Compile and submit local, state, and federal agency permits for cured-in-place pipe projects.

  • Review and select necessary vendors and subcontractors for cured-in-place pipe projects.

  • Work withfield crews and subcontractors to track and manage project costs, meet expected production rates, and gross profit margins.

  • Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and project status meetings with our customers.

  • Prepare, submit, and track submittals, RFIs, and RFI's & Change Orders.

  • Prepare Performance Metric reports with the analysis of monthly labor hours against forecast andsubcontractor analysis (schedule of values) for all projects.

  • Update project management system daily with actual job costs and cost commitments to accurately reflect the financial performance of the projects.

  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed on all construction sites.

  • Use Smartsheet software to assist with scheduling and tracking jobs.

  • Analyze and prepare scopes of work and assist with awarding of Subcontracts.

  • Handle material procurement for specialized cured-in-place projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management with 2+ years of related field construction management experience, or 5+ years of field construction experience managing an annual project portfolio of $1MM or more.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solidunderstanding of the basic principles in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience in water/sewer or municipal environment is strongly preferred.

  • Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel

  • Primavera and JD Edwards software experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong focuson customer satisfaction required.

  • Must be able to travel as needed (approximately10%)
