Job description

Overview

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a Title Examiner for Florida Title Production.  FNF is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. FNF is the nation's largest title insurance company through its title insurance underwriters - Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Alamo Title and National Title of New York - that collectively issue more title insurance policies than any other title company in the United States. Duties

Searching and Examining. Use our Title plant and our Production software to create title packages and reports. Work with our offshore team. Customer service. Search our title plant and public records for legal documents related to property. Examine those documents for validity and accuracy. Prepare reports that outline actions needed to clear title. Report any defects or discrepancies in the title chain.

Education

High school diploma.

Experience

3-5 years of Florida Title Search and Exam. Knowledge and understanding of Foreclosures, Probates and Bankruptcy and how those affect title. Experience with Title Point and Title Wave a plus, but not necessary.

Good computer and typing skills. Must be able to meet productivity goals and turn times. Detail Oriented.
