About the Job Job Title: Manufacturing Technician - Assembly Group Location: 3LED Group Brands Supported: Xico Lighting, FlexGrid Systems, Prolume Lighting Role Summary: 3LED Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support fixture assembly operations across multiple lighting brands. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role spanning pre-assembly, fixture build, quality control, and final packaging. The position is designed for individuals who want broad exposure to manufacturing processes with the opportunity to specialize or grow into more advanced technical or engineering-oriented roles over time. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-assembly kitting, material preparation, and work order staging.
  • Assemble LED lighting fixtures and subassemblies according to work instructions and drawings.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Support labeling, packaging, and shipment preparation.
  • Maintain accurate production records and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve assembly processes and workflows.
  • Assist with machine shop or fabrication activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments preferred.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, work instructions, and BOMs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools and basic equipment.
