Fidelity Manufacturing is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Our operations are driven by safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement to support critical customer applications.


Job Summary

The Service Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting field technicians by coordinating operations from both the office and the field. This is a hands-on, working management position that balances administrative responsibilities with active involvement in shop and field operations (approximately 80% office / 20% field).


Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and define project scopes of work
  • Coordinate and optimize the scheduling of work orders to ensure efficient technician utilization, alignment with financial goals, and on-time project completion for customers
  • Oversee project progress and performance, ensuring all needs are met while maintaining accurate and timely communication on status updates
  • Provide day-to-day support to service technicians to ensure efficient job execution
  • Coordinate and manage company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Oversee inventory, including stocking service vehicles and organizing job materials
  • Handle logistics for materials, including ordering and shipment coordination
  • Assist in maintaining shop organization and readiness
  • Participate in field and shop work as needed to support project completion
  • Lead project closeout activities, ensuring all financials are reconciled and administrative requirements are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Promote and enforce adherence to company policies and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment on all project sites

· Consistently delivers high-quality, accurate, and reliable work while building trust and maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the organization

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project coordination or project management
  • Proficiency in multiple business applications and ERP systems, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills and Qualifications

· Strong communication skills and computer proficiency, with the ability to clearly convey information across teams

· Effective people management skills, with experience leading and supporting staff

· Ability to identify issues and implement preventative strategies to minimize risk

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
Repetitive use of hands, arms, and upper body.
Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds (or position-specific limit).
Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and production equipment.
Ability to read measurements using rulers, gauges, and measuring tools.
Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing required PPE.


Working Conditions

This position is performed in a manufacturing, production, and warehouse environment that may include indoor and outdoor work areas, some of which are not fully covered. Employees may be exposed to fluctuating temperatures, weather conditions, elevated noise levels, airborne particles, fumes, moving machinery, and uneven surfaces. Work involves proximity to heavy equipment, forklifts, and production machinery. OSHA-compliant safety training, PPE, and safety procedures are provided and required at all times.
