Job description

The FHN Financial Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex business problems, mentoring other developers, leading technology initiatives, and working directly with end users to deliver high-quality software solutions

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy. and maintain enterprise web applications
  • Participate in application architecture technical design, and code reviews
  • Develop modern user interfaces using Angular and Blazor
  • Build RESTful APIs and backend service using Microsoft .NET
  • Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies
  • Develop distributed applications using message queue technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
  • Collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Lead technical projects and provide guidance to other developers
  • Participate in Agile planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented and thoroughly test code
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Minimum of5 yearsof professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft .NET (.NET Framework and/or .NET), C#, Angular, Blazor, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience building REST APIs and service-oriented applications.
  • Experience with one or more message queue technologies such as: RabbitMQ, MSMQ or IBM MQ
  • Experience using Git and GitHub for source control.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps including repositories, pipelines, work items, and release management.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
  • Experience developing secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives or serving as technical lead on projects.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices and tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
