Job description

Carrington Lawn & Landscape is a locally owned and innovative company dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients and providing a rewarding work environment for our team. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves traditional pesticide and fertilizer application, supporting our sales team, and engaging in cross-divisional work. Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and be a positive, supportive teammate.
  • Read and understand chemical labels, accurately mix and fill tanks per label rates.
  • Professionally apply herbicide and fertilizer products to client properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and product use.
  • Diagnose issues and recommend service solutions.
  • Operate mechanical spreaders, aerators, and other machines.
  • Minimize errors by using best practices and proper procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members for training and workflow optimization.
  • Maintain application equipment to ensure proper function and a professional appearance.
  • Participate in winter work as part of our Snow & Ice Management team, with roles based on experience and skill set.
  • Collaborate with landscape maintenance and installation teams as needed throughout the growing season.
Qualifications

Compensation

$24 to $29/hour based on experience.
