What does a lawn fertilizer do?

A lawn fertilizer is a specialized product used to provide essential nutrients to grass and soil, promoting healthy growth and a lush, green lawn. Fertilizers typically contain a mix of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which are vital for plant health. Applying lawn fertilizer helps improve the lawn's color, thickness, and resistance to weeds and diseases. It is important to choose the right type of fertilizer and apply it properly to avoid over-fertilization, which can harm the grass and the environment.
