We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Fertilizer and Lawn Care Applicator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizer, weed control, and other turf treatments to commercial and residential properties. If you enjoy working outdoors independently, taking pride in making properties look their best, and operating professional equipment, this is the position for you.
Key Responsibilities
Apply Treatments: Calibrate, load, and safely operate application equipment (ride-on spreaders/sprayers, push spreaders, and commercial spray trucks) to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
Property Assessment: Evaluate turf conditions, identify weeds, pests, or diseases, and recommend or adjust treatments accordingly.
Safety & Compliance: Mix and handle materials in strict accordance with product labels, safety data sheets (SDS), and local/state environmental regulations.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients on-site, answering basic questions about applications and care instructions.
Documentation: Accurate logging of daily production records, product usage, and tracking treated properties.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine cleaning/maintenance of application equipment and vehicles.
Job Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or agricultural application is highly preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
Licensing: Must possess a valid State Pesticide Applicator/Operator License (or be willing and able to obtain one within 30 days of hire).
Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record is required.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, light rain, wind), lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and walk or stand for extended periods.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay Range: Starting at $22 (pay based on experience)
