Job description

As a Fertilizer Applicator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient application of fertilizers and other soil amendments to various lawns and plants across our service areas. You will work on customersย lawns to ensure optimal application rates and timing, contributing to the health and productivity of the lawn. Must have proper applicator license(s).

Key Responsibilities:

โ€ข Operate and maintain fertilizer application equipment, including spreaders and sprayers, ensuring they are in good working condition.

โ€ข Accurately apply fertilizers and soil amendments according to agronomic recommendations and safety regulations.

โ€ข Monitor weather conditions and soil moisture levels to determine the best times for application.

โ€ข Collaborate with agronomists and farmers to develop customized fertilization plans based on soil tests and crop needs.

โ€ข Maintain accurate records of applications, including rates, locations, and weather conditions.

โ€ข Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to the handling and application of fertilizers.

Qualifications:

โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent; additional agricultural education or certifications are a plus.

โ€ข Previous experience in fertilizer application or agricultural equipment operation preferred.

โ€ข Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record.

โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
