About the Role
The Ultrasonographer is a vital role in assessing and tracking reproductive health for patients undergoing fertility treatments. This role conducts precise transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds, obtains detailed diagnostic images, and works closely with physicians to assist in treatment planning. Dedicated to precision and professionalism, the Ultrasonographer also ensures patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the imaging procedure.
We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Illinois. This position provides support across all clinic locations, with Chicago, IL serving as the primary work location. Travel to other clinic locations as needed is required. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday, and the opportunity to contribute to a patient's life-changing journey.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds to assess pelvic structures, monitor follicular development, and diagnose reproductive conditions.
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to obtain high-quality images with precision.
  • Ensure accuracy in capturing, documenting, and analyzing diagnostic images.
  • Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during procedures.
  • Identify and interpret normal and abnormal findings to support fertility assessments.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide timely, accurate diagnostic reports and assist in treatment planning.
  • Maintain detailed and organized patient records and ultrasound reports.
  • Educate and support patients by explaining procedures and their role in fertility care.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
  • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
  • Education & Licensure:
    • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
    • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience performing transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds as a Sonographer in a fertility clinic or reproductive medicine setting
    • Open to Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience performing ultrasound examinations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in interpreting ultrasound images and accurately documenting findings.
    • Strong knowledge of fertility-related ultrasound procedures, terminology, and reproductive anatomy.

Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $35 .00 - $43.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
