Job Title: Student Worker - Baylor Athletics Event Management and Facilities

Job Description:
Position Summary: This student-worker position will support the day-to-day operations and event execution at all Baylor Athletics events and facilities, including concerts and special events. This position offers hands-on experience in event management, guest services, and athletic facility operations, while providing flexible hours to accommodate student schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event set-up and break-down for Baylor Athletics events, concerts, commencements, and other special events.
- Greet and assist guests, provide directions, and ensure a positive event experience.
- Perform crowd management and ushering duties during events.
- Support back-of-house operations including locker room setup, team support, and equipment logistics.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
- Operate various equipment such as radios, scoreboards, and PA systems (training provided).
- Collaborate with full-time staff and external vendors to ensure smooth event operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by arena staff or supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled student at Baylor University.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
