Professionalism: The student worker will interact with various stakeholders across the university while completing their job duties.
Communication: The student worker will demonstrate effective customer service while receiving and delivering mail and packages.
As a Distribution Services Student Worker, you will be responsible for sorting and collating mail into proper departmental/student mailboxes and distributing and receiving packages from, but not limited to, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. You will also deliver the received mail/packages to departments, faculty, staff, and students while interacting with university personnel, displaying exceptional customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
Ability to lift heavy packages safely.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
