Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Sales - Global Air Freight Specialist to join our sales team. In this role, you will drive sales growth by leveraging digital platforms, tools, and data to identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored freight solutions. You will serve as the bridge between traditional freight services and modern digital solutions, ensuring customers receive streamlined, tech-driven logistics support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective freight clients using digital sales channels (email, CRM, online portals, etc.)
  • Identify customer needs and present customized digital freight solutions.
  • Respond to inbound quoting leads and conduct outbound sales using digital marketing and sales tools.
  • Use freight and logistics platforms (TMS, CRM, online booking systems) to quote, and manage shipments.
  • Collaborate with aligned sales teams to optimize customer acquisition and retention utilizing digital tools and resources.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
  • Educate clients on digital freight booking platforms and promote self-service tools to enhance customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:Bachelor's degree/equivalent or four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience or two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Minimum Experience: Successful completion of the Digital Sales Representative program or six (6) months of FedEx sales experience or six (6) months ofFedEx commercial customer facing experience or one (1) year of business-to-business sales experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Successfully leveraging technology (MS Suite, CRM, video conferencing) to maximize the impact of communication and to effectively research and engage aligned accounts.

Ability to travel overnight as required.


Preferred Qualifications: Freight Brokerage experience preferred.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: FEC_SD2 $18.82 - $45.00 hourly

Additional Details: Purple Flex Hybrid - This position will be hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
