Job description

Assists in developing and directing programs and projects dealing with the introduction and continued operation of aircraft within flight operations; communicates/coordinates with the fleet manager, management in other divisions and flight crewmembers to assure the efficient and correct operation of the fleet in support of corporate goals. Interfaces, communicates, and coordinates with government agencies, manufacturers, international agencies and vendors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent; Aerospace/engineering preferred.

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years related experience in aviation flight operations or airline/aircraft manufacturing program management.

Pilot or flight engineer experience preferred.

Formal education or occupational experience in program management/ operations analysis, planning and aviation safety or training preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel within the FedEx Jump seat system.

Strong computer, analytical, planning and communication skills.
