Material Handler

JSG is hiring a Material Handler for Haverhill, MA. Pay rate: $18-$19 DOE Skills: 3-5 years shipping and receiving experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of domestic and international shipping Ensure orders are properly shipped using FedEx, DHL, and UPS software Package and label orders accurately for shipment Receive and process all orders in the Visual ERP system Receive incoming items by accepting deliveries, unpacking shipments, recording identifying information, and entering transactions into the ERP system Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers Document shipped items by recording identifying and transportation information Maintain inventory levels by assisting with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory Utilize core competencies to achieve departmental goals and objectives Collaborate with planning and assembly teams to support on-time delivery (OTD) goals Support picking and packing of materials Partner with the purchasing team to ensure timely processing of receipts and provide cross-functional support within the materials department as needed Determine appropriate shipping methods by reviewing outgoing shipments and ensuring they meet customer specifications
