Pricing Analyst
Redlands, CA
TrakMotive is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team!
The Pricing Analyst will support the development and execution of pricing operations amp; contract management across customer segments and product categories. This role focuses on artefact documentation, analysis, and execution of pricing initiatives that improve margin, competitiveness, and price discipline. Working closely with the Pricing, Sales, Product, and Finance teams, this individual will translate data into actionable pricing insights, maintain pricing repository and reporting, and ensure accurate, timely pricing decisions across quoting, RFPs, and go-to-market initiatives.
This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building scalable tools, and developing a deep understanding of parts categories, channel economics, and customer behavior to drive measurable financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Support execution of pricing strategy across customer channels, regions, and product categories
  • Maintain pricing models, and program discount structures with clear guardrails and approval thresholds
  • Maintain pricing master data ensuring data quality and consistency
  • Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identify new market segments.
  • Ensure standardized and full documentation of customer contract terms
  • Support RFP pricing and quoting with standardized templates, models, and inputs
  • Monitor exception activity, and escalate risks and opportunities
  • Assist with price change execution, audits, and post-implementation reviews
  • Document pricing processes, assumptions, and methodologies
  • Support ad-hoc pricing analyses and leadership reporting
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or related field
  • 0-4 years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or similar role
  • Excel and SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs, Power Query, Power Pivot)
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Understanding of pricing concepts: margin, discounting, price realization, and competitive benchmarking
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Preferred: Automotive aftermarket, distribution, or retail experience
