What is a federal contractor?

A federal contractor is any worker or organization that enters into a contract to provide labor, services, products, or materials to a government department or agency. These laws include equal opportunity hiring, disability employment, and safety compliance. The duties of a federal contractor vary significantly depending on the type of work they perform.
