Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an Inside Sales Representative to join a leading Company located in the Waco, TX surrounding area.

Responsibilities:
  • The Inside Sales Representative will provide a high level of customer service and support with an established customer base, including Program Management of key strategic accounts, providing exceptional service to maintain and increase sales of these accounts
  • The Inside Sales Representative will demonstrate a particular focus on program/customer management
  • Handle a high volume of customer interaction
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • High volume of customer quotes, pricing, and delivery by phone, fax, or email
  • Manage all aspects of order entry, stock management, and purchase requirements for key customers
  • Daily status and review of Key accounts orders, stocking levels, and re-order points
  • Assist company AES's LA management in forecasting revenue and GP of accounts
  • Determining correct material based on customer requirements
  • Obtaining quotes from vendors for material and outside processing
  • Sales Order & Purchase Order entry
  • Assume responsibility of key house accounts
  • Coordination with Outside Sales and Management; information & feedback
  • Follow-up and communication with customers; status & delivery
  • Initiate & follow-up on customer returns and problems (credits & complaints)
  • Maintains paper and digital records/files for the respective department
  • Periodically visits with customers to establish better business relationships

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; College degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an inside sales and/or customer service environment
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced metals, distribution, or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience working with SAP desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, intranet and internet usage
