Bausch Healthcare's Federal Account Manager (FAM) represents our entire company and vast product portfolio to our Federal Market customers VA/DoD
Responsibilities:
  • The Federal Accounts Manager will be responsible for the development, management and implementation of sales strategies within the Federal Government Markets on behalf of Bausch Health.
  • The primary objective of the field-based Federal Account Manager will be responsible for making presentations to achieve product awareness, educate the market, and generate prescriptions within the assigned geography.
  • The FAM is responsible for positively influencing prescribing habits and building relationships with VA & DoD Medical Directors/Physicians, Pharmacy Leadership and their staff.
  • Multilevel interaction at targeted VA Medical Centers, VISN leadership and targeted Military Treatment facilities.
  • Provide direction and information related to pull through opportunities with field sales leadership for Tricare

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years of successful US Federal Account management experience
  • Established relationships with key federal leaders at VA and/or DOD in Western half of US preferred
  • Prior military experience is beneficial
  • Successful field sales, hospital sales, managed-care, marketing, or sales management experience is beneficial
  • Demonstrated skills in business planning and strategy development with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence others
  • Ability to translate and compile data into comprehensive and functional reports leading to actionable outcomes
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Candidates must live in proximity to target accounts with 60% travel
  • Candidates must be flexible, possess positive mindsets, work with a high sense of urgency, and excel at collaboration with peers
  • Knowledge of Federal procurement methods, formulary process with VA and understanding of the Tricare Uniform Formulary
  • Fully able to communicate and understand Federal Market pricing (Prime Vendor, FSS and Big 4)

The range of starting base pay for this role is 146K - 201K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
