Job description

Job Purpose

The Technology Innovation & Exploration Lead is responsible for idnetifying, shaping and validating emerging technologies that can deliver measurable business value for the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization.  This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to explore new capabilities, develop use cases and business cases, and transition successful concepts into delivery teams for industrialization or enterprise rollout.   This role will also help establishe GSP innovation programs such as citizen development, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, controls and value realization objectives. 

Job Description
  • Continuously explores and evaluates emergin technologies and assess their potential to address business challenges and opportunities
  • Partners with business stakeholders and vendors to idnetify, shape and refine use cases aligned to GSP priorities. 
  • Develop clear business cases that articulate vlaue, feasibility, scalability and risks. 
  • Plan and lead experiments, pilots, proof of concepts to validate business value, technical feasibility, data feasibility and scalability prior to industrialization. 
  • Define success criteria and conduct structured evaluations to determine readiness for enterprise adoption. 
  • Document outcomes, lessons learned and recommendations to support informed decision-making. 
  • Communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to sponsors and governance forums. 
  • Establish and govern execution of GSP citizen delveopmentincluding guardrails, standards and operating models in alignment to corporate standards. 
  • Define funding, intake and prioritization mechanisms for innovation initiatives. 
  • Promote a culture of responsible innovation and agile continuous improvement within GSP. 
You are meant for this job if:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital innovation, technology strategy, business transformation or related roles
  • Demostrated experience leading exploration, experiments or proof-of-concepts
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business relevant outcomes and value stories
  • Experience in partnering with IT, business leaders and external technology vendors

Preferred experience in procurement, supply chain or enablement functions.
