Position Summary
The Aircraft Security Agent is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and airline staff throughout airport premises while strictly complying with all safety and security protocols. This role plays a critical part in protecting aircraft, restricted areas, and ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
Key Responsibilities
• Authorize and monitor all airline staff and visitor entries and departures of the aircraft
• Comply with all TSA checkpoint screening requirements and processes
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions
• Follow all airline and airport safety protocols to maintain a secure environment
• Operate detection devices to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas
• Maintain a professional demeanor and de-escalate difficult situations as needed
• Create daily reports documenting activities, irregularities, or security concerns
• Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass an FBI background clearance
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Previous aircraft security experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 pounds or more
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move frequently throughout the shift
