Job description

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Extended Learning Coordinator

Location: District-wide |ย Status: Exempt |ย Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (MF), 12 months


Position Summary:

With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision, and core values, the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Extended Learning Coordinator leads the development of and implementation of a district wide MTSS program. Under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning, and in collaboration with the Director of Community Education and Strategic Partnerships, the MTSS and Extended Learning Coordinator collaborates closely with district and building administrators, educators, support staff, families, and students to establish and implement a tiered framework that uses data to meet the academic, behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL)needs of each and every student


Education / Experience / License Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.
  • Experience and knowledge of implementation science to facilitate change, FastBridge assessments, and Panorama education preferred.
  • Valid license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $89,547 $105,162

The salary for this position depends on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the salary range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate, up to the maximum of the salary range. Salary decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, considering the individual's experience and the district's budget.

Edina Public Schools provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending plans. All employees participate in the state's pension program, the Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). In addition, employees can participate in the 403(b) retirement program, with eligibility for a district match based on the terms and conditions outlined in the employee work agreement. Eligible employees also receive paid time off in accordance with the provisions outlined in the employee work agreement.ย
