About the role
  • Medical Assistant - Fast Pace Urgent Care

Position Summary:
Fast Pace Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
  • Assist providers with exams, treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Perform basic laboratory testing, specimen collection, and administer injections as directed.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms while following infection control guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient education.
  • Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and verifying patient information.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Phlebotomy skills required.
  • Occupational health experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
  • Comfortable with and able to understand and follow written, verbal, and email communications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
