About the Role
As an Associate Veterinarian at On Point Animal Hospital, you will provide medical care for companion animals while working closely with our skilled support team. This role will include a mix of preventive care, urgent care, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, and dentistry.

Responsibilities
- Perform wellness exams, sick visits, and preventive care appointments
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals
- Manage urgent care cases during regular hospital hours
- Develop treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly with clients
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
- Interpret diagnostics and recommend appropriate next steps

Urgent Care & Surgery Experience
On Point Animal Hospital is looking for a veterinarian who is comfortable with a variety of medical and surgical cases. This role will include urgent care appointments, same-day sick visits, surgery, and dentistry as part of the regular caseload.
Experience in urgent care medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dental procedures is strongly preferred. We are looking for a doctor who can confidently assess cases, communicate treatment plans, and help provide timely care for pets and their families.Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited program
- Active veterinary license in South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience in small animal general practice
- Urgent care experience strongly preferred
