Job description

Welcome to Dossani Paradise Burger King. We are a Family oriented, well-established organization seeking an experienced Team Member to join our rapidly growing Team!

The Fast Food Team Member plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring efficient daily store operations. This position requires a friendly,

dependable, and detail-oriented individual who can multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Full and Part Time Openings Available. Must be able to work various shifts.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a smile and interact with customers. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
  • Consult with customers to understand needs and preferences. Demonstrate and explain menu items.
  • Use value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities. Provide information on promotional specials and loyalty programs.
  • Operate cash register and point of sale devices, as needed.  Collect payment using the store point of sale system.
  • Answer customer questions and respond appropriately to customer concerns.
  • Ensure accuracy of guest orders. Prepare, package and arrange food according to specified standards. Verify quality and quantity of orders.
  • Process returns, missing items and exchanges.
  • Unload and stock inventory as needed. Retrieve merchandise from stockroom.
  • Clean kitchen area, counters, food preparation area, and utensils. Maintains health and safety standards in all work areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, food prep areas and exterior.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines when preparing food or beverages.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and store policies. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
  • Expect to learn multiple areas and rotate according to store needs. Duties may include cashier, guest services, drive through and prep/cook workstations.
  • Refill condiments and supplies.
  • Operate food production equipment such as grill, broiler and/or deep fryer to complete tasks.
  • Prompt and regular attendance on required shifts.
  • Maintain a clean and polished appearance. Adhere to uniform and dress code policies.
  • Exhibit team effectiveness. Work with others to achieve store goals.
  • Communicate positively with management, customers and other team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and resolve issues with tact.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment, such as cash registers, point of service systems, and food preparation equipment.
  • Basic mathematical skills, as needed, to make change and give refunds.
  • Able to learn company’s products, services, and policies quickly. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing required.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Previous fast food or similar restaurant experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training provided.
