Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our fast-paced team of analysts. The person in this role will be responsible for providing key insights to our key GPO business partners โ€“ member organizations and supplier partners. This role requires strong reporting and analytical skills, paired with a commercial perspective, to deliver high-impact results. This role will interact with multiple internal stakeholders from various functions and help us create a data-driven culture. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who can work in a team setting, but also can work independently.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex data sets from multiple platforms to produce impactful deliverables enabling a consultative delivery of findings to customers and supplier partners
  • Normalize and Categorize customer data to facilitate clear analysis of procurement value creation opportunities
  • Create dynamic output for conveying sales and savings opportunities to external business partners across a variety of businesses and industries
  • Manage key data taxonomies for major segments of the business to best align high volumes of data to the uniqueness of our business
  • Manipulate data to customize deliverables to accommodate customersโ€™ unique or complex requests
  • Aggregate data across customer base to identify commonalities and trends among sales opportunities
  • Organize and manage totality of opportunities across customers and suppliers to ensure ongoing sales growth
  • Prioritize, support, and maintain deliverables (i.e. assessments, reporting, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of relevant business experience
  • BA/BS in a field that demonstrates competency for the role, e.g., computer science, social sciences, math, engineering, statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced Excel experience including pivot tables/reports, conditional formulas, formatting, XLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Data driven storytelling skills to deliver impactful and actionable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication with ability to comfortably and effectively communicate through all levels of the organization as well as with external partners
  • Ability to make decisions and problem-solve in ambiguous situations
  • Self-motivated / Willing to learn / Well organized
  • Familiarity/experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and Salesforce
