At Rural Mutual Insurance, you will join a team providing Auto, Home, Life, Farm, and Commercial insurance exclusively for Wisconsin farms, businesses, and families. With the support of a base salary, plus the opportunity for commission and bonuses, you will receive training and the backing of a district manager as you onboard. Our agents become trusted members of the communities they serve and proudly keep our promise to ensure that premiums paid here stay here to keep Wisconsin strong.
$42,000 - $48,000 Base Salary, PLUS Commission + Bonuses, and a $2,000 Signing Bonus
Responsibilities
• Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies or adjust existing ones
• Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc
• Appraise the needs of the business or individual customers and sell suitable protection plans
• Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews
• Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
• Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report the progress of marketing and sales efforts
Qualifications
• Skilled at networking and committed to the community in which you work
• High level of integrity with a track record of showing consistency between words and action
• Experience in delivering customer-centered solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
• Excellent skills in communication: listening and presenting
