We are seeking a Fuel Farm Mechanic position at our new Ronald Reagan Washington International airport operation. The Fuel Farm Mechanic is responsible for servicing airport fueling carts, vehicles, tanker trucks, transport vehicles, and related equipment in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Line maintenance
• Perform PM's
• Minor/major repair of a varied assortment of equipment
• Troubleshooting
• Inspect the hydrant system
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
• Pass a federal fingerprint background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Have proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Must have reliable transportation
Additional Requirements:
• Small engine experience
• Electronic diagnosis ability
• 1-year related experience working on gasoline or aviation fuel trucks or fuel farms and/or training - and/or combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of internet software and smart phone ap
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to commute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
