Job description

The Sr. Mgr, Agent Recruitment is responsible for driving the multi-state overall recruiting vision, strategy, and performance. This leader will develop, coach, and hold a team accountable of Regional Recruiters while partnering with regional leadership to target, attract and recruit top-tier real estate agent talent. The focus is on building a scalable, high-performing recruiting function that fuels company growth and strengthens market presence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

Recruiting Strategy & Execution (25-40%)

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with company growth goals and market expansion plans
  • Partner with senior and regional leadership to forecast hiring needs and set recruiting priorities
  • Identify target talent segments such as new, experienced, top-producing agents, etc. and create tailored approaches
  • Own the comprehensive Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to collect, scan, rank and filter job applications to ensure a consistent and effective recruiting pipeline across all offices and regions

Team Leadership & Development (15-30%)

  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor a team of 1 to 5 Regional Recruiters to achieve individual and collective recruiting goals
  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability structures
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a culture of proactive outreach, relationship-building, and continuous improvement

Performance Management & Metrics (10-20%)

  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and agent production levels
  • Use data to identify gaps, optimize recruiting strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • Hold the team accountable to activity standards and results

Relationship Building & Industry Presence (15-25%)

  • Partner with local leadership to hand off leads for conversion
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with top agents, industry influencers and associations
  • Ensure consistent and compelling communication of the company’s value proposition across all recruiting channels
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance branding, understand competitive positioning, and leverage social media presence, and recruiting campaigns
  • Position the company as the brokerage of choice for high value/high volume agents at all stages of their careers

Onboarding & Retention Alignment (15-25%)

  • Partner with Professional Development and office leadership to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Align recruiting efforts with on-boarding strategies to improve agent engagement and long-term success
  • Monitor early-stage agent performance and adjust recruiting profiles as needed

Performance Expectations

  • Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
  • Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners.
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Experience:

  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruiting leadership, or sales recruiting, including multi-market or distributed recruiting environments.
  • 3–5+ years of experience leading and developing recruiting teams, including performance management, coaching, and KPI-driven accountability.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting and closing high-performing sales talent
  • Experience partnering with marketing on recruiting branding, campaigns, events, social media strategy, and competitive positioning.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into execution
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build relationships with top-producing agents and industry professionals

Wage:   $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
