Job description

The Retail Sales Associate serves customers and supports daily operations by performing a wide range of tasks, including selling products, answering questions, and stocking shelves. The position represents the face of the company for customers and offers exceptional customer service with prompt, efficient, and courteous service.

Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
    • Greet, assist, and engage with customers helpfully and courteously.
    • Answer incoming phone calls and attend to customers simultaneously.
    • Inform customers of current sales and promotions.
    • Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
  • Complete general housekeeping of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
  • Work with management to arrange and rotate items and displays on the sales floor, keeping merchandise organized and easily accessible to customers.
  • Responsible for organizing, stocking, and restocking shelves with available products.
  • Drive sales by engaging customers, sharing product knowledge, and recommending products.
  • Reinforce safety by identifying unsafe conditions and reporting to management.
  • Promote trust and respect among personnel.
  • Participate in the freight process as needed.
  • Operate the cardboard baler.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
