Senior Coordinator, Claims - Farm Family

Working onsite as a Senior Coordinator within the Financial Administration Department, you will make a vital contribution providing specialized financial functions to ensure efficient workflows and maintain compliance for the Claims Division. Your problem-solving skills will be essential to make this role as impactful and effective as it is intended.

How You Will Create an Impact
  • Apply expertise to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for internal customers and business partners diagnosing issues, resolving inquiries, and delivering specialized support as a subject matter expert.
  • Analyze and enhance operational practices, including workflow, documentation systems, and performance standards, to drive process improvements and implement approved solutions.
  • Manage varied responsibilities within the scope of financial functions for the Claims Division, including preparing and delivering reports, supplying business-critical materials, maintaining and reporting accurate tax-related documentation, and ensuring reconciliation of various lines of business.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Exceptional administrative or insurance experience and/or training which typically comes with five or more years of experience.
  • An eagerness to learn from experiences and new situations, you're great at navigating and switching between proprietary, vendor, web-based and standard computer systems, according to priorities.
  • You're also great at identifying problems and coming up with appropriate solutions.
  • A customer service mindset and ability to proactively engage with a variety of internal customers and promptly respond to phone calls and/or emails is important too, as is the ability to maintain accurate and updated files.
  • An insatiable attention to detail it takes to ensure accurate documentation.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or insurance designation will help move you to the top of the list.
