Job description

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Farm Hand to join a swine production facility in Cardington, Ohio. This hands-on position is responsible for assisting with the daily care of livestock, maintaining farm facilities, and supporting overall farm operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable around animals, and has a strong work ethic.Pay is based on experience!Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily care and feeding of pigs
  • Monitor animal health and report concerns to farm management
  • Clean and maintain barns, pens, equipment, and work areas
  • Help move and sort livestock as needed
  • Support breeding, farrowing, and weaning activities under supervision
  • Follow and maintain farm biosecurity and animal welfare procedures
  • Operate basic farm equipment and tools safely
  • Assist with loading and unloading feed, supplies, and livestock
  • Perform general farm maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep of buildings and grounds
  • Maintain accurate records related to animal care and daily farm activities
  • Follow all safety guidelines and farm procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous farm, agricultural, livestock, production, or general labor experience preferred
  • Experience working with swine is a plus but not required
