Job description

The Humane Society of Missouri's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO is hiring a Flexible Part-Time Equine Care Specialist. Come help us take care of rescued horses and other farm animals! Duties include:Giving food and waterTurning out horses into pasturesCleaning stalls and living quartersInteracting with visitors and volunteers in a positive and courteous mannerOperating tractors or other equipment with various attachments in a safe and responsible mannerProviding all animals with proper care and attention including adherence to established feeding, sanitation and medical proceduresQualified candidates must be 18 or older, have a valid driver's license, previous horse handling experience, and a flexible schedule that will include weekend hours. Our flexible part-timers work as needed. The number of hours per week is open to your availability, and there may be some weeks when there aren't hours scheduled. Starting pay is $17.00/hour.
