In this role, youโ€™ll support families experiencing trauma or life challenges by providing guidance, transportation, and supervised family interactions. Youโ€™ll collaborate with parents, children, foster families, and other professionals who share a commitment to keeping families safe, supported, and connected.

As a Family Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide transportation for families and children as needed
  • Facilitate and supervise family interactions
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings between families and FCS team members
  • Complete accurate and timely case documentation
  • Collaborate with a team dedicated to supporting and strengthening families

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in human services working with children and/or dependent adults

Preferred qualifications, but not required:

  • Associate degree with at least six months of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in human services or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable internet access or ability to work from an office location
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
