Job description

Family Nurse Practitioner

Works as a part of The Ohio State University College of Nursing Federally Qualified Health Center, Total Health and Wellness, with Nurse Practitioner's and other members of the interprofessional collaborative practice team to provide primary care to patients in a clinic setting; works with members of the healthcare team to formulate treatment plans; triages patients and provides emergency treatment when appropriate; conducts in-service training and monitors the skill levels of clinical staff; actively contributes to patient satisfaction with timely responses and completion of EHR tasks; teaches and mentors health professional students on theory and practice of care delivery by an interprofessional team; serves as preceptor for RN, NP and medical students.

The position will be located at the upcoming Prosperity Center on the East Side of Columbus. This location combines a free food market, community health center, city services, and other supports under one roof to create a one-stop destination for social services.

Required Qualifications

Master's of Science Degree or DNP in Nursing. APRN License with Certification as an NP. 0 years of relevant experience required.

1 year family practice/primary care experience highly desired.
