This full-time position entails providing comprehensive care within our outpatient surgical center, where you will be essential in diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions. Work Environment

The work setting for this position is primarily onsite at our surgical center, where you will work approximately 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to impact patient health directly during regular operational hours. Our facility is designed to foster collaboration among medical professionals, with 5 attending physicians and 5 nurse practitioners on staff, ensuring a collaborative and collegial atmosphere. You will have access to modern medical technology and a supportive administrative staff, allowing you to focus on delivering the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical exams and review medical histories to assess patient health.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood panels and imaging studies, to gather necessary information for diagnosis.
  • Diagnose various acute and chronic health conditions and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Prescribe medications and propose treatment plans for illnesses and chronic diseases, ensuring adherence to best-practice guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using our health information management system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and preventive care strategies to empower informed health decisions.
  • Promote a culture of health education, prevention practices, and patient engagement throughout our services.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow medical staff, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care and seamless communication across departments.
